Warner Bros. Discovery is to shut down GCN+ and the GCN App, the direct-to-consumer cycling platforms, in its latest restructuring move in the digital space.

GCN+ and the GCN App will close on December 19 as WBD continues to make cuts and savings across its businesses.

News of the closure comes 12 months after WBD decided to shutter its international golf streaming service GolfTV.

The platforms are part of the wider Global Cycling Network (GCN), which sits under the Play Sports Group umbrella.
