Microsoft’s $68.7bn Activision Blizzard deal gains European approval

The European Commission has approved US-based technology giant Microsoft’s proposed $68.7bn (€63.1bn) takeover of video game producer Activision Blizzard, just weeks after the deal was vetoed by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
